A Brief History
Shree Laxmi Iron & Steel Works Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in 1946 with its works at Liluah, Howrah District — about 6 km from Kolkata and 10 km from Calcutta Port.
In 1957, it rolled Fish Plates for the first time — becoming the first company in the Indian private sector to manufacture Fish Plates, and the first to export Fish Plates from India.
With custom-made specialised imported machines, the company has huge production capacity and has been manufacturing Fish Plates for over 68 years.Our Products
